WINTER HAVEN, FL– Since 1983, Crosby & Associates, Inc. has upheld a tradition of stellar customer service, with each and every business transaction. Vice Presidents, Trevor C. Williams MA and Caleb McDow ALC, CCIM have continued this tradition, completing the sale of a former dairy for $5.3 million.
Brighton Dairies, Inc. had been looking for the right buyer for their extremely versatile 1,495 acre property in Desoto County, FL. The vast property consists of pasture land, hay fields, native land, dairy barns, a well-maintained road system, as well as electric-powered wells and buildings. The property had been operating as a rotational grazing dairy farm for several decades.
“Given the historical use of this land, we really wanted to find a buyer that understood and respected the land enough to continue using it in a productive manner,” said Williams. “At Crosby & Associates, we are not just interested in helping our clients sell property; we truly care about the short and long-term use of land, the people who use it, and the surrounding community. “
This is why it became clear that buyer Tamiami Citrus, LLC, represented by Jeff Cusson of Saunders Real Estate, was the right buyer. The new owner is planning to convert the property to an alternative agricultural use. Cusson, had this to say about the sale, “It was an enjoyable process to help our buyer locate an ideal property with virgin ground, good sources of water, and fertile soils to plan their latest citrus holdings . . .”
